Back to reality

I'm back!! *insert dancing emoji* It’s been about a month since I got back from Thailand and I have just about managed to get into a normal routine. As much as I'm happy to be back to normality, I am gutted that my reality is no longer temperatures over 30 degrees and taking selfies with cute Thai kids at the end of every camp session. I truly had the most amazing time in Thailand. I made some amazing friends and memories I will treasure forever.

Packing for south east asia

As you are reading this I am at Birmingham airport waiting to board my flight to Thailand!! Eeeeeeeeeee! I can't wait to get away from rainy England and bask in 35 degree heat. What do I pack has been the big question on my mind ever since I got my flights booked back in May. You can read all about my preparations here. I have a tendency to over pack and not use half the stuff that I have packed so I decided to write a list of the essentials that I will need.

How to prepare to volunteer in south east Asia

3 DAYSSS!! In 3 days time I will be on my way to Thailand to teach English and do a bit of travelling. AAHHHHHH!! This will be my first time travelling and teaching English to non native speaker. I am so excited yet scared for this trip which is normal I guess! I will be going with a company called 'Camp Thailand' Since finding i got a place on there program I have spent majority (if not all) reading blogs and watching youtube videos to get an idea of what to expect. I didn't realise there was so much preparation that needed to be done before departing so I thought I would share them with you incase anyone is planning on doing a similar trip.
