Anyways, onto my favourites..
1. Made in Chelsea
So every morning when I'm having breakfast and getting ready for work i like to have the Tv on for some background noise. And at the moment, E4 are showing old episodes of made in Chelsea and I'm enjoying watching watching them all from the beginning. I am currently on season 7 and I completely forgot how much a disliked Alex Mytton and how much I want Jamie and Lucy to be a couple #JUCY. Watching these old episodes is getting me excited for the brand new season which starts back next Monday. Nothing like a bit of proudlock to come home to on a Monday evening. mmmm.
I love sweet potatoes. I used to only have them as mashed potatoes because i didn't know there was all these others ways of having them. They have become part of my weekly shopping list. I usually cut about 1 or 2 potatoes into cubes and drizzle (I like the word drizzle) some oil and salt and pepper then pop them into the oven for about 20 mins or until they are cooked. once that's done i have then with a side salad and chicken breast seasoned with herbs and spices. And ofcourse you can't go wrong with some ketchup on the side. Its such an easy meal to make and sweet potatoes are suppose to be healthy so there's that.
3. Missguided Strappy Heeled Sandals
I know I'm late to the strappy heels shoes party. I have always wanted to buy a pair but i feel like i don't have nice feet to pull them off so i have always just gone for the standard court heels or a trusty wedge. The other day i was doing some online shopping and i found myself looking at heeled sandals and i just loved these simple classic black heels and decided to bite the bullet and buy a pair.
I got them for £25 and I FREAKING LOVE THEM. They don't make my feet look weird like i thought they would. I am actually really tempted to go and buy a nude pair aswell. I'm going out this weekend so ill definitely be wearing them. I'm debating on whether to team them up with a lace LBD or a pair of jeans and white cami for a smart casual look. The only thing I'm worried about is if they will be just as comfortable at the end of the night as they are at the start. We shall see.

4. Barry M Nail Varnish
I went into Nottingham town centre a few weeks ago after work to buy some more deodorant and ended up picking up some new nail polishes as well. I wanted some nice spring colours to make my nails look pretty. Barry M have always been my go to nail brand because they are very affordable and have a wide range from matte to just your standard nail colour. I picked up this shade of blue (blue moon) shade and a nude colour. I believe they were £2.99 each. I dont like to not have my nails painted so I thought the nude colour would be good to wear to work and just a standard everyday nail colour.
Unfortunately the nude colour was not what I thought it would be. You can barely see it on. Its the type you would wear if your were doing a french manicure. I really like the blue moon shade, It looks really pretty on and drys quickly. My first attempt lasted about 3 or 4 days. This is mainly my own fault because i like to wash my hand a lot when I am at work so that will obviously chip the nails. I have painted them again while i have got this week off so hopfully they can last a few days.
5. Spring cleaning
I did some spring cleaning this week. I have never done a spring clean before mainly because i've spent the last 3 years at uni so there was no need to do one. Its not something students do. but since moving home ih ave had to squeeze everything that i own into one tiny room. So though it was time to have a clear out and condense my stuff.
I wouldn't say I'm a hoarder but i am very sentimental about things. I have kept every single birthday card that i have ever been given because i just feel bad throwing it in the bin. I also keep souvenirs from like places I've visited like a rock from the time i went to the seaside with friends. I know, weirdo. I even have clothes that i used to wear when i was 13 because you know fashion always comes back round. I obvs wouldn't fit in any of them now but still.
So on Tuesday, embarked on the task with a bit of kisstory in the background. My room and wardrobe now feels more spacious and tidy. THERE'S SO MUCH ROOM FOR ACTIVITIES! I'm planning on taking everything to the charity shops over the weekend but in the mean time I'm gonna browse the H&M website in the home section and see if there is anything nice i can add to my room.
So there we go this week' faves. I hope you have wonderful weekend and enjoy the sun.
